No, this is simply a series of gps tracks that may help you plan your trip. You should not use it as your only guidance in undertaking a trip of this distance.
Yes, all riders should wear appropriate safety gear, including helmets, eye protection, and gloves. It is also recommended that riders wear long pants and sleeves to protect against cuts and scrapes. Bring adequate water and other survival supplies, tell someone where you are going and when you expect to arrive. NEVER RIDE ALONE - bring two or more vehicles. Be prepared to walk out!

This is a Route, trails imply marking and maintenance. - BBTS has limited if any maintenance, typically by events that have used some of the same ground or from mining / energy companies that are working in the area.
